Affiliate terms

These terms apply when you join, and take part in, the Collectoh affiliate program. They're in addition to our terms of use, which still apply to your account. By joining, you agree to them.

"We", "us" and "Collectoh" mean Collectoh. "You" means you, the affiliate. For anything in these terms, write to affiliates@collectoh.com.

#Joining

Anyone with a Collectoh account and a confirmed email address can join, from their account page. Your link and code work from the moment you join. We look at who joins, and may pause or close an affiliate account that breaks these terms (see Ending).

You choose a code when you join: it's in your link, and anyone can type it on the sign-up form. A code can't be changed later, can't name Collectoh or a page of ours, and can't suggest a discount we don't offer. We may refuse or remove a code that breaks these terms or misleads people.

You can join as yourself, or for your business or site. If you join for an organisation, you agree to these terms for it.

#What you earn

A customer counts as yours when they sign up for a Collectoh account with your link or your code, and make their first purchase within 30 days of signing up. On their purchases you earn:

• The 50% founder rate applies only to founder lifetime licences, which are sold for a limited time. Once that deal ends, lifetime earns 30%.
• A share is of what the customer paid, before tax and less anything refunded, to the nearest cent.
• Annual renewals earn nothing: only a customer's first annual payment does. Monthly payments earn for 12 months from the customer's first monthly payment.
• Website purchases only. Purchases made through an app store earn nothing.
• Only customers who signed up with your link or your code count. Someone who already had an account, or who signed up with another affiliate's code, doesn't.
• The share you earned on a purchase stays at the rate it was earned at. If we change the rates, the change applies to purchases made afterwards, and we'll tell you first.
• If someone forgets your code when they sign up, they can write to us, and we may link their account to you.

#Refunds

Commissions are reversed on refunds. If a purchase is refunded in full before its share is paid to you, the share is cancelled. If it's refunded after, or in part, the difference comes off your next payout.

#When you're paid

Each share is held for 30 days after its purchase, so that a refund in that time can take it back. After that it's due. We pay what's due in the first week of each month, by PayPal or bank transfer, once it comes to $25 or more; less than that carries over to the next month.

• Tell us where to send your money from your account page. We'll email you whenever it changes, and we can only pay to the details you give us.
• Payouts are in US dollars unless we agree otherwise. Fees your bank or PayPal charges to receive them are yours.
• You're responsible for any tax on what you earn, and for telling us anything the law requires for us to pay you.

#Recommending Collectoh

You can recommend Collectoh wherever you like, as long as you do it honestly and lawfully.

• Say it's an affiliate link, every time, clearly and before the link: the law in most places requires it, including the rules on advertising and endorsements where you and your audience are.
• Describe Collectoh accurately: what it does, what's free and what Plus adds, and its prices as they are on collectoh.com. Don't promise discounts, features or prices we don't offer.
• Use our logos and screenshots as they come in your marketing kit, without changing them, and don't present yourself as Collectoh or as speaking for us.

You must not:

• refer yourself: your own purchases, and purchases by accounts you control, never earn a share;
• list your code or link on coupon or deal sites, or pay or reward people to sign up;
• bid on "Collectoh", or anything like it, as a search keyword, or use a domain, an app or an account name that could be mistaken for ours;
• send messages people didn't ask for, flood comments, or post where a community's rules forbid it;
• sign people up who didn't mean to sign up, or do anything else to earn a share that a real recommendation didn't.

Commissions earned by breaking these rules aren't paid, and we may close your affiliate account.

#What we see, and what you see

We keep your code, what you told us about where you'll recommend Collectoh, when you agreed to these terms, where your money goes (sealed, so only our service and the staff who pay you can read it), and what you earned and we paid you. Our privacy notice says more.

On your account page you see when each person you sent signed up, whether they pay for Plus, and what it earned you. You never see who they are, and we never tell you.

#Ending

You can leave the program at any time by writing to us. We can pause or close your affiliate account if you break these terms, if we end the program, or with 30 days' notice for any other reason. When it ends, your code takes no new sign-ups and earns nothing new; shares already earned are still paid, unless they were earned by breaking these terms. Deleting your Collectoh account closes your affiliate account too, and we keep what we need to pay you what's due.

#Changes to these terms

We may change these terms, for example as the program grows. We'll tell you by email at least 30 days before a change that affects what you earn, and the change applies only to purchases made after it.

#The law

These terms are governed by the law of England and Wales. Nothing in them makes you our employee, agent or partner.
